Susan L. Haire

Susan L. Haire began practicing law with Starnes Aycock Law Firm in February, 1997. Having received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992 (BS Psychology), Susan graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 1995.

Upon graduation from law school, Susan practiced with the law firm of Kuehnert & Ayers, P.L.L.C. in Morganton, NC. While there, she assisted the County Attorney in real estate matters, particularly tax foreclosures and other civil litigation.

Since becoming a member of Starnes Aycock Law Firm in 1997, Susan has practiced in the following areas: Real Estate (Residential and Commercial); Insurance Defense; Civil Litigation; Estate Planning/Probate; Elder Law and Traffic Matters.

Within the community, Susan has served on The Community Foundation board as well as being a GA leader and assistant Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church Hickory. She is currently serving as a member of the Constitution and By Laws Committee at First Baptist Church. Susan is a certified Mediator, a member of the NC State Bar, the NC Bar Association and has served as President of the District Bar Association on for the 25th Judicial District.

For Susan, the most rewarding aspect of practicing law is meeting new people and assisting them in finding resolution to matters which are currently causing distress in their lives. She welcomes the opportunity to work with both companies and individuals.
